Following the International Workshop held on the 5th of June, a trip at Parchi Reali (www.parchireali.gov.it) will be organized on the 6th of June. Parchi Reali is a network of Protected Areas situated in the Turin metropolitan area that hosts not only high biodiversity values but also exceptional cultural values. The trip will allow to visit a significant example of periurban Park (Parco Naturale La Mandria) and to check criticalities, opportunities and challenges of planning and management policies in this kind of PAs.
The trip’s departure is at 10:00 AM at Parco Regionale La Mandria, Borgo Castello, Parchi Reali venue. Participants are asked to confirm their participation at cedppn@polito.it within the 28th of May.

Organized by the European Documentation Centre on Nature Park Planning (CED PPN, DIST - Politecnico di Torino) and the New Regional Development in Protected Areas research group (NEReGRO group, Universities of Vienna, Rapperswil, Oldenburg, Bern), with the support of the School of Specialization in Architectural and Landscape Heritage (Politecnico di Torino) and the Management Authority of Parchi Reali.
